This year's Sommerszene Festival at Salzburg hosts various artists from the apap network.
Andrea Maurer/Thomas Brandstätter & studio 5 show their animation-film der springende punkt, Superamas present their production THEATRE, Mette Ingvartsen presents her new piece The Artificial Nature Project and new member Ivana Müller shows In Common and François Chaignaud performs alterened natives' Say Yes To Another Excess - TWERK together with Cecilia Bengolea.

Croatian director and author is having a residency at SZENE Salzburg to work on her new project.
_replacements for Years of refusals
The performance is being constructed from the mosaic of personal fragments made of memories, abandoned bodies, ex-lives, wasted concepts and broken illusions. Illusions that have lost their powers to protect us. So we must find some new ones; traveling through reflections of the present moment, moment of a live performance. There's something ceremonial in it. In a way it's very similar to the ceremony of protecting yourself from the evil fairies; they say that even if the good fairies do exist, they certainly aren't in the woods. You must always protect yourself before entering a forest. Weird things have happened.

THEATRE, the new project by Superamas, is having its premiere on November 8th 2012 at Spanski Borci, Ljubljana.
The piece - co-produced by szene salzburg - is about the representation of a world structured by the politics of illusion. In this context, various extended reality techniques, such as 3-D images, avatars and mapping, are used. Real persons, fictitious characters and avatars will meet.
